If you want to relax in these natural warm waters, the Terme dei Papi establishment is ideal. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious spa facilities in Italy: its name already alludes to the predilection reserved for these baths by numerous popes, starting with Gregory IX which gives rise to the papal splendor of these baths since 1235.Papa Pio II then let you realize enlargement and restructuring works. It is for these special attention reserved by the popes that the baths of Viterbo are commonly known as “Bagno del Papa” or “Terme dei Papi”. At the historical level we can not even mention the mention of these famous baths Dante and Michelangelo . Dante cites the sources of Bullicame in verses 79-81 of the XIV Canto of the Inferno, while Michelangelo, struck by the beauty of these baths, made two pen drawings that are currently preserved at the Museum of Vicar of Lille in France.

The monumental swimming pool is open every day, NO Tuesday from 9 am to 7 pm. On Saturdays, the pool is also open at night from 9.30 pm to 1.00 am.Most treatments are open all day on Sundays and holidays included.
